Imposition
When I wake up in the morning, I have absolutely nothing to complain about, nothing except for our civilization. Our civilization is once again at a crossroads, where we will learn some things the hard way with governance or we will learn now and take corrective action before it is too late. It is one thing to be practicing authoritarian libertarianism; it is another to be working side by side with an "extremist" organization from the far right, bent on fascism, that we may not recognize to be such. They can say what we want to hear as to ideology but will have their own selfish agenda.
Based on maturity level, humanity through the years with their form of governance has imposed an overlay of civilization over the kingdoms of living organisms that if kept unchecked will cause us to destroy the "backbone" of our existence, our biosphere and all ecosystems, and lead us to extinction. God did His part, but He did not create our civilization; we did. The purpose of our life is to mature as individuals, but also collectively as a society.
Imposition is a form of bullying. I have come up with six levels of imposition through the years by humanity on planet Earth that we need to fix. Each imposition listed caused negative impact, resistance, or disease:
Imposition #1: Domestication of Fauna
In my book "Guru," I mention animals as being wild or domesticated. Animals were not born to be wild, but rather they were one with nature leading to balance amongst ecosystems. When mankind makes a footprint on this planet, who really is "wild" here? What do you expect animals to do but get their backs up and not trust humanity when we destroy their habitat, way of life, and right to live? They do not have free will to think for themselves to adjust that easily to the spread of civilization. They have to rely on their spirit. Some species have gone extinct. We have "started" conservation and preservation measures to avoid species extinction.
Imposition #2: Destruction of Flora
You should know all about the need to have flora, such as for oxygen, nutrition, and shelter. Plants have a spirit. Our footprint caused deforestation, ground erosion, watershed destruction, and certain species extinction. We have set up national parks, plant nurseries, seed banks, and forest reserves to preserve sensitive ecosystems, but we could be doing a lot more. All rural areas outside of our "urban beehive" should be treated as a natural reserve. We also can introduce and care for flora inside our beehive.
Imposition # 3: Pollution of Earth's Elements
Earth's elements, including wind, fire, water, and minerals have a spirit. With industrial waste, burning of fossil fuels, water contamination, toxic spills, to holes in the ozone layer, we have done considerable damage to the environment. Our civilization is a "cancer" to the planet, going against the balance of nature. There is no planet within close proximity that we can escape to when our biosphere is no longer habitable. The good news is Earth will heal itself over millions of years if we go the way of the dinosaur. The next civilization would then dig up and study our petrified bones and try to figure out what led to our demise. Efforts are being made globally to have countries become more responsible for controlling emissions and preserving water quality.
Imposition #4: Domestication of the Indigenous
In America, European settlers Christian based came in with their form of society and destroyed the habitat of the indigenous, their way of life, and their right to live. They even treated the indigenous as if they were "wild," as second class citizens and they needed to be "domesticated", to have them adopt their way of life, that included things like alcohol consumption and be immune to the diseases they brought over. They were told not to get in the way and placed onto reservations, no longer having the freedom to roam without borders, were discriminated against, and even had church promoted genocides conducted against them. Just think about how upset they would have been for what the Europeans did and the resistance and reluctance they had in adopting their way of structured life with all its regulation, imperfection, and neglect for our biosphere. No wonder they got their backs up. They were close to becoming extinct like the buffalo.
Europeans had lost their way and no longer knew about our spiritual connection to nature. The indigenous were not listened to for their beliefs and we showed no respect for shamanism. Now we are learning and starting to recognize value in how the indigenous lived in harmony with nature and the environment. The indigenous have a lot they can teach us. In my "Guru" book, I talk about the "Eagle and Condor" prophecy and how it will take another 500 years for our civilization to live in harmony with the indigenous, flora, and fauna, and although not stated, hopefully live in peace and protect our biosphere. Let society reward people who do.
Imposition # 5: Competition to Win
It has been known for generations that in order to get ahead with capitalism, we need to compete. People get rewarded if they compete successfully and are the best for what they do. Mankind knows competition is an important part of the animal kingdom because "survival of the fittest" works towards improving any species' genetics. Competition might have been important for mankind in the caveman days, but for modern society, we are not to behave like animals. We were granted free will to think for ourselves and therefore do not need competition to survive, but rather the exact opposite.
For some people, competition is not their strength, yet they play an important role, such as a pilot, teacher, nurse, or janitor. They may not necessarily get rewarded that well for what they do. We need people to have different strengths to create a healthy society and therefore we need to level the playing field as to compensation. Bullying causes resistance and can take competition to the next level, such as fighting in wars destroying fauna, flora, and Earth's elements. It is embarrassing to think that after thousands of years we still kill one another in certain situations to get ahead or get what we want. Those with strong competitive juices just want to win regardless and certain politicians will even revert to corruptive techniques and spread lies and misinformation, whatever it takes. I find it so disgusting when politicians say they will "fight" for us. We need to collaborate, not fight. No modern Christian should fight.
Competitiveness is the most serious problem of our civilization. It is unloving. It divides us into those who have, like the oligarchs and those who have little. Yes, you can have competitive sports for fun and to be the best you can be for that sport, but it does not matter who wins the game and we should not be rewarding the winners.
Imposition # 6: Culture Assimilation for Christian Nationalism
Along comes Christian Nationalism to impose onto Canadian civilization, starting with Alberta with its authoritarian libertarianism, a form of fascism, replacing a secular democracy with a theocracy. Our elected “Conservative” party, the UCP are trying to impose their ideology by fighting the establishment, doing everything in its power to destroy our constitution, judiciary, and charter of rights. Based on their set of beliefs, they want to treat any infidels as second class citizens, and support the oligarchs so they can more freely conduct their business without regard to regulation or restriction, with no concern for the environment. This is naturally upsetting for anyone not part of the minority in power, and the behavior of our elected representatives is not what was expected and voted for and therefore there has been a breach of trust. No wonder we hsve our backs up and resisting.
With the introduction of this imposition, we are back to square one on all problem layers of imposition introduced earlier. Instead of focusing on protecting flora, fauna, and the Earth's elements, taking care of the indigenous and respecting the treaties signed with them, ensuring peace such as controlling who has a gun and respecting more the war veterans who fought against fascism, the UCP are now focused on fighting the establishment to destroy our current form of governance, our pluralism, and multiculturalism. With everything else taking a back seat, their actions are causing us to accelerate towards our extinction when good measures were being taken before to make our society more responsible. They are focused on destroying what progress we made so far in fixing what problems we created previously.
Iran and Afghanistan are good examples of countries being run by a theocracy. They are not doing very well, despite what they feel is their divine right for how to govern. As per the news, Iran's society is in complete chaos and meltdown. Women have little rights in Afghanistan's archaic governance. Ever since Trump became elected, the American society continues to degrade at an alarming rate on all fronts. The USA is doomed for failure. Yet the Conservative parties federally and provincially want Alberta and Canada to turn the clock back hundreds of years and have a similar form of governance so we can go down with them.
This is insane.
